Countdown to Vancouver: 10 Days
10 Days left until the Vancouver opening ceremonies.
I saw this article about Canada’s Brian McKeever on Yahoo! Sports today. McKeever is legally blind, and will be competing in the 50km cross-country race. Like the swimmer Natalie du Toit, McKeever also competes in the Paralympics. This will be his first time competing in the regular Olympics. While I will be rooting Team USA on, I wish him a lot of luck.
Although flowers seem to be blooming in some Vancouver suburbs, it looks like the weather will not be detrimental for the Olympics. The weather is supposed to be around freezing, and better yet, it’s not supposed to rain. Oh joy. At least they’re not expecting to lose any snow right now. The weather could still change, hopefully it will get a little colder and start to snow.

Hmmm… I’m not seeing anything. Perhaps adSense was having a problem? I’ll keep on the lookout.
