Alana Nichols won the first gold medal for the United States in the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics. She also has a gold medal from the Summer Paralympics.

Bode Miller won his first gold medal in the Super Combined event today. Ski cross made its debut, and the ice dancers completed their second day of competition.
